1750 Travis Boulevard

My restaurant is located just off of Interstate 80, which connects the awe-inspiring city of San Francisco to California’s state capital of Sacramento. The climate here is mediterranean and is the ideal escape from humid summers and frigid winters. Also there are a few things to see out here:

YoseMITE National Park

3 Hour Drive East

Sure..you’ve probably seen Half Dome a million times as a wallpaper on your Apple device, but standing under these monoliths in the quiet, remote Yosemite valley floor is a feeling you will never forget.

My favorites: View of Half Dome from Glacier Point, Stay at Yosemite Rose B&B

The Golden Gate Bridge

1 Hour Drive West

It’s massive, beautiful and relied upon by millions of people everyday. One end empties out into “The City” while the other end delivers you to a remote forest habitat that is remarkable to find near an urban epicenter. And yes…it does have its own emoji.

My favorites: View of Bridge from Battery Spencer, Lunch in Sausalito

Lake Tahoe

2 Hour Drive East

It’s a lake. It’s a ski haven. It’s a beach. It’s snow capped mountains. It’s wilderness and hiking. All in one place. Lake Tahoe is many things to many people but to all of them it is an epicenter of fun and beauty.

My Favorites: October Salmon Spawning in Taylor Creek, Ski Northstar, Golf Edgewood
